Everything you need for prequalification, on one page

Registration, insurance, safety systems, licensing, screening and quality assurance. Certificates of currency are available on request and can be issued directly to your procurement team.

Everything here can be evidenced with a document

We do not claim anything here that we cannot put in writing. Registration numbers are published so you can check them yourself on the public register. Insurance and screening evidence is issued to you as current certificates. If you need any of it for a prequalification or tender submission, ask for the compliance pack and it goes to your contracts team directly.

Certificates are issued directly to your procurement or contracts team on request.

WorkCover / workers compensation Statutory WorkSafe Victoria employer registration. Certificate of currency issued on request.
Domestic building insurance

Per job Taken out job by job and put in place before works commence, for any works that require it. It is not a standing annual policy: the certificate for your job is issued for your job.
Subcontractor insurance Own cover Every subcontractor must hold current public liability cover. Currency is checked before they are engaged on a Foundry job, not after.

Occupational health and safety

Safety systems and site practice
SystemPractice
Safe Work Method StatementsPrepared for high-risk construction work before it starts, and available to you on request for any job.
Site inductionsFoundry personnel and subcontractors are inducted to the requirements of the site and of your organisation before attending.
Incident reportingIncidents and near misses are reported to you and recorded. Notifiable incidents are reported to WorkSafe as required.
Construction Induction CardChecked before anyone attends site. No one without a current White Card is engaged on a Foundry job.
AsbestosPre-1990 stock is treated as potentially containing asbestos. Suspected material is not disturbed. Work stops and you are notified so the register can be checked and a licensed removalist engaged where required.

Trades and licensing

  • Plumbing compliance certificates are issued for compliance-certifiable work.
  • Certificates of Electrical Safety (COES) are issued for electrical work.
  • One accountable point of contact, not one pair of hands. Every job is run personally by a director, with delivery on a broad subcontractor base, so a five-property vacancy bundle moves on the same week as a single repair, without waiting on any one supplier's diary.
  • Compliance certificates are supplied with the handover pack, not on request after the fact.

Personnel screening for tenanted properties

Maintenance work in social housing puts tradespeople inside the homes of residents, including residents who are vulnerable. Screening is treated as a condition of attendance, not a formality:

  • National Police Checks and Working with Children Checks are held for Foundry personnel attending tenanted properties.
  • Current screening records for the people who will attend your properties are supplied with our compliance pack, and are available for audit at any point during a contract.
  • The same standard is applied to subcontractors attending on our behalf, and evidence is in place before they attend an occupied property. We do not send an unscreened trade into a tenanted home because a job is urgent.
  • Where your contract sets a screening standard beyond ours, we meet it and evidence it before attendance.
  • Personnel identify themselves on arrival rather than expecting a resident to admit an unknown tradesperson.

If your organisation requires screening evidence before quoting rather than before attendance, say so in your enquiry and it will be supplied with the quotation.
